2020 Nimrod Literary Awards Open for Submissions

The 2020 Nimrod Literary Awards, The Katherine Anne Porter Prize for Fiction and the Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry, are now open, with a deadline of April 1. The Awards offer first prizes of $2,000 and publication and second prizes of $1,000 and publication, together with a trip to Tulsa to take part in the Nimrod annual writing conference and awards ceremony.

The Nimrod Literary Awards are among the most distinguished literary prizes in the country. The contest winners will be published in the fall issue of Nimrod, as will all finalists and selected semi-finalists. Published finalists and semi-finalists will be paid at a rate of $10/page.

Writers who have submitted previously will want to take note that the April 1 submission cut-off  is earlier than previous deadlines.
