An Evening with Erik Larson at the Fayetteville Public Library April 1

Fayetteville Public Library will present An Evening with Erik Larson on Friday, April 1 with two separate events.

Free and open to the public is the FPL Author series with Erik Larson at 7:00pm on the Main Floor, Media Elllipse. Author of five New York Times bestsellers, most recently Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of th Lusitania, which hit #1 on the Times list soon after launch. Known for his mastery of narrative nonfiction, Larson’s other bestselling books include The Devil in the White City, In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror and an American Family, Thunderstruck, and Lethal Passage: Story of a Gun. Movie rights to his previous bestselling In the Garden of Beasts and Devil in the White City have been optioned by Universal Studios and Playtone and Leonardo DiCaprio. The public presentation is free and open to the public.

A Pre-event Meet & Greet with Erik Larson is also planned April 1 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Tickets for this event are $15 and maybe reserved online at http://www.faylib.org/erik-larson-meet-greet-registration. Also, tickets may be purchased at the door.
