Arkansas Authors Sign Books at Shiloh Museum December 5

Four Arkansas authors, Don House, Allyn Lord, Susan Young, and Brooks Blevins, will be signing their books at hourly intervals at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale on Saturday, December 5.



Don House, author of Not A Good Sign, a photo essay ofunique, odd, and humorous signs seen on the backroads and byways: 11 a.m.

Allyn Lord, author of Historic Monte Ne, a history of theearly-20th century Benton County resort community founded by William Hope “Coin” Harvey: noon.

Susan Young, author of So Big, This Little Place, a historyof the founding and early years of the Italian settlement ofTontitown: 1 p.m.

Brooks Blevins, author of Arkansas/Arkansaw: How Bear Hunters,Hillbillies and Good Ol’ Boys Defined a State, an exploration ofArkansas’ image and stereotypes through the years: 2 p.m.

Books by all four authors will be available for purchase in the Shiloh Museum store.The Museum is located at the corner of Johnson and Main in downtown Springdale.
