Bernhardt’s WriterCon August 30, 2019

For the most part, I try to keep the posts on ArkansasWriters third-person neutral, but for this one I’m making an exception. (It is my website, after all.)

Like most of my Arkansas writer colleagues, I’ve attended plenty of writers’ conferences, some of them excellent, some of them—not so much.

If you’re looking for an experience to stoke your writing engines, you still have time to sign up for WriterCon:

August 31- September 1

Skirvin Hilton

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

WriterCon is presented by William Bernhardt’s Red Sneaker Writer Center in Oklahoma City. Himself a gifted writing teacher,  Bernhardt knows how to gather a mix of industry professionals who can distill the essentials of the writing craft for writers at different levels.

Although my schedule does not allow me to attend this year, I’m still savoring and benefiting from the 2018 experience.
