Wearing red heels like those pictured on the cover of Blacklisted from the PTA, Lela Davidson stood at a round-topped table in the bar of the Aloft Hotel in Rogers on July 12, signing an endless offering of books, while party noise swirled around her.

Most of the people in the hotel lobby seemed to be clutching copies of her newly-released book of humorous essays about motherhood in the 21st century.
