Book Signing Nov. 9 Ragnarök Prophesies series

Little Rock, Arkansas – Curiosity Quills Press, in conjunction with Starbucks, is pleased to announce the Falling for FALL book signing and canned food drive with Arkansas native and new adult author, A.K. Morgen. On November 9, 2013, A.K. Morgen will meet fans at Starbucks on University Avenue in Little Rock from 2:00 to 4:00pm.

Readers are encouraged to bring copies of FADE or FALL – the first two books in Ayden’s wildly popular Ragnarök Prophesies series – to be signed. Copies will also be available for purchase at the event. Attendees can sign up to win one of two FALL swag bags full of fall favorites, including pumpkin spice latte mix, candles, recipes, a Curiosity Quills Prime Time mug, a Pretty Little Liars tote bag, lip-gloss from Mark, and more.

This free event is open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to help stock the pantries for the Ronald McDonald House of Little Rock. The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families with a child in an intensive care unit in Little Rock hospitals. Ten percent of book sales on the day of the event will benefit the Spina Bifida Association. The Spina Bifida Association promotes the prevention of Spina Bifida and enhances the lives of all affected by the oftentimes critical neural tube birth defect.

A.K. Morgen wrote her first story at the age of seven, and published her first book locally at the age of twelve. She’s written in a variety of genres since, and has published numerous poems and research articles over the years. She was raised in Bald Knob, Arkansas with her sisters and now resides on the edge of Little Rock with her husband of nine years and their four crazy pets. Ayden graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Psychology in 2009, and immediately entered graduate school. In 2012, Ayden completed her graduate degree in Criminal Justice and Law, once again graduating at the top of her class. She now puts her education to use in a social work position for the state of Arkansas. In her spare time, Ayden volunteers for non-profit organizations close to her heart.

FADE (The Ragnarök Prophesies: Book One), published in 2012 by Curiosity Quills Press, blends current shapeshifter and wolf tales with deep, apocalyptic Norse mythology in the heart of small town Arkansas. FALL, the much anticipated second book in The Ragnarök Prophesies series, delves deeper into Norse canon, pitting lead characters, Arionna Jacobs and Dace Matthews, against demigods straight from the Northern myths in a race against time. FALL was released on October 5, 2013 to rave reviews.
