Calling All Arkansas Poets

Arkansas is the chosen state for the Maureen Egen Writers Award competition for 2018. The competition is sponsored by Poets&Writers Magazine.

This is an incredible opportunity for the state’s poetry-writing community, so get your skates on. The January 8, 2018 deadline will be here before you know it.

Guidelines:
Poetry manuscripts should not exceed ten pages, single or double-spaced (minimum of 7 pages).

Published work may be included; however, no reprints from books or magazines are acceptable. Published work must be retyped to conform with the rest of manuscript and should not be identified as published work.

All work must be original and written in English; translations are not eligible. There are no restrictions on style or subject matter.
