Calling All Arkansas Writers of Fiction!

Arkansas is the chosen state for the Maureen Egen Writers Award competition for 2018. The competition is sponsored by Poets&Writers Magazine.

This is an incredible opportunity for the state’s fiction-writing community, so get your skates on. The January 8, 2018 deadline will be here before you know it.

Guidelines:
Fiction manuscripts should not exceed 25 pages and must be double-spaced. Fiction manuscripts may include stories and/or excerpts from novels

Published work may be included; however, no reprints from books or magazines are acceptable. Published work must be retyped to conform with the rest of manuscript and should not be identified as published work.

All work must be original and written in English; translations are not eligible. There are no restrictions on style or subject matter.

Remember, your submission must be postmarked ON or BEFORE January 8, 2018.
