True Lit Mystery Panel: Anna Loan Wilsey, E.A. Allen, and Maeve Maddox

Beginning at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the Walker Community Room at the Fayetteville Library, three mystery writers, Anna Loan Wilsey, Maeve Maddox, and E.A. Allen will focus on how to write and craft a mystery novel.

Wilsey’s first novel, A Lack of Temperance, won first place in the Hattie Davish Mysteries Series.

Maddox comes to mystery writing from an academic background. Two of her published books are So You Want to Write, a collection of essays on the writing craft, and a brief style guide called 100 Writing Mistakes to Avoid.

Allen is a former CIA Senior Analyst who served in both the Bush and Clinton administrations. He drew from his experiences as an analyst, writer, and history professor for his Edwardian mystery When Beggars Die.
