FPL Second Sunday series with Nancy Hartney March 2017
Nancy Hartney is guest at the Second Sunday Local Author series in the Fayetteville Public Library Walker Room March 12, 2017 at 2:00pm. She writes about the Deep South where her roots dig into the piney woods and the sweat-soaked hardscrabble farms. Her second book, If the Creek Don’t Rise: Tales from the South follows her award winning debut collection, Washed in the Water: Tales from the South, both from Pen-L Publishing.
She writes non-fiction for The Chronicle of the Horse, Sidelines, Horsemen’s Roundup, DoSouth, and other publications. Her short stories have appeared in Big Muddy: Journal of the Mississippi Valley, Seven Hills Review, and various regional anthologies.
