Gayer Publishes Another Volume of Wacky Humor
Arkansas writer Russell Gayer is busy marketing his second collection of comical short stories, One Idiot Short of a Village.

According to the story that gives the collection its title, “Every village must have an idiot.” When the leaders of the hamlet of Nasal Falls, Wisconsin—desiring to rise to the status of village—recognize their need for an idiot, they conduct a search. The search is narrowed to “two of North America’s dimmest bulbs.”
Readers tired of the gloom and doom of the daily news will find Gayer’s wacky take on the trivialities of life a welcome escape.
