Imagining Your Play: Community Playwriting Workshop with Lisa D’Amour

Thursday, February 9, 2017 – 4:30pm to 6:00pm in the Fayetteville Public Library Walker Community Room Lisa D’Amour presents a playwright workshop.

Are you just beginning a play or half-way through and looking for inspiration? Do you have an idea, but can’t seem to get it started? This 90-minute workshop, designed to help you unlock and explore the impulses behind your work, no matter how unconventional. Short writing exercises will help you imagine the world of your play. In addition to being an award-winning playwright, Lisa has led workshops around the country and has taught at several leading graduate programs, including Brown, Iowa and the University of Texas.The workshop is free and open to the public. Class size is limited and registration required.

Lisa D’Amour’s Detroit is staged at TheatreSquared February 1-26.
