Limited registration for free 2018 workshop in honor of Dusty Richards

Thirty-three years ago, in 1985, writers Dusty Richards and Velda Brotherton founded Northwest Arkansas Writers Workshop.

Dusty Richards In Memoriam 1937—2018

The Workshop’s free writers’ conference got started about twelve years ago and will take place this year on March 10. Sadly, Dusty won’t be there in person, but he will be in spirit.

Already scheduled before the fatal December accident that took Dusty and his wife Pat, the 2018 workshop will take place on Saturday, March 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ozarks Electric, 3641 N. Wedington Drive in Fayetteville.

Tables for published authors will be available.

Because space is limited to 70 participants, early registration is recommended. Register by emailing Velda Brotherton at veldab-at-gmail.com/. Let her know if you can volunteer to help with setting up and with breakfast arrangements.
