Mark Poe Story Featured in Gravel Literary Magazine

mail boxes“Prayer for the Mailman,” a short story by Arkansas writer Mark Poe, appears in the May 2019 issue of Gravel: A Literary Journal, a publication of the MFA program in creative writing at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

A native of Black Oak, Arkansas, Mark writes Southern Gothic and stories based on his youth. His work  has also been featured in Southern Gothic Creations.

Drawn to the dark and gritty side of Southern living, he is working on a collection of short stories and a series that deals with Southern vigilante justice “with a twist.”
