Nightbird Speakers October 19 and 20, 2018
Debby Schriver will be at Nightbird Books on October 19 at at 7 pm to present her book, Whispering in the Daylight: The Children of the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries and Their Journey to Freedom.
Whispering in the Daylight takes readers on a vivid journey of the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries, beginning in 1969 with a bus ride from the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue to the church properties in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
Randi M. Romo, author of debut poetry collection Othered, will be the featured speaker at a poetry reading on Saturday, October 20 at 7 pm. She will be joined by Brody Parrish Craig, Maximilliano Calabotta, Noelia Young, and Jane Blunschi.
Nightbird Books is located at 205 W. Dickson Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
