Poet Adamo Speaks at FayLib April 6

Poet Ralph Adamo will present a talk entitled Southern Expression at the Fayetteville Public Library on Thursday, April 6 at 6 p.m.

Adamo is the author of seven collections of poetry and is the recipient of a National Endowment of the Arts award for poetry and was the first-ever recipient of the Faulkner Society’s Marble Faun Award. He is an associate professor of English at Xavier University of Louisiana.

A book signing will follow the presentation. Copies of Adamo’s work will be available for purchase.

Maeve Maddox writes about popular culture, English usage, and education. Her most recent books are WORD RAGE, a guide to peaceful coexistence as American English-speakers, and THE FABERGE FLUTE, a cozy mystery set in 1980s London.
