Still Time To Attend Nimrod Conference October 19, 2019
Nimrod International Journal will host its annual Conference for Readers and Writers, a day of one-on-one writing workshops, masterclasses, readings, and panel discussions at the University of Tulsa.
The Conference will feature workshops on poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction,young adult, mystery, and publishing contracts, as well as one-on-one editing workshops, agent-led novel query critique sessions, readings, and panel discussions. Special guest authors and editors include National Book Award finalist and poet Kim Addonizio; Guggenheim Foundation and National Endowment for the Arts fellow, fiction author Margot Livesey; mystery novelist Rachel Howzell Hall, author of the Detective Elouise Norton series; 2017 Oklahoma Poet Laurate Jeanetta Calhoun Mish; William C. Morris Young Adult Debut Award finalist Anna-Marie McLemore; and literary agent Jennifer Udden. They will join more than thirty other writers and editors.
Pre-registration ends on October 15.
Late Registration will be held on the day of the conference from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. in the Allen Chapman Student Union on The University of Tulsa’s campus, 440 S.
