The Elkins Writer’s Group meets Saturday, July 14 from 2-3 pm at the Elkins (Arkansas) public library. Linda Rigsbee will give a brief demonstration on how to format your manuscript in word for home publishing. For more information, call 479-935-4021.

Heather Gilbert, a veteran dispatcher with the Fayetteville Police Department will speak at the noon meeting of the Whodunits at ROTC (Restaurant on the Corner), 3582 N. Highway 112, Fayetteville (past Sam’s and the Auto Park.)
