 Researching Fiction with Veda Boyd Jones

Content: Jones will speak on how to research for fiction, both historical and contemporary, citing examples from her work, such as spending days at a TV station and attending the citizens police academy. Questions will be welcome.

Write Like an Actor Workshop

Date: Wednesday, October 28, 9 am.

Cost: Free, Zoom link on the calendar on the Baxter Library site

Content: short lectures and writing prompts. Exercises to write better dialogue, get in touch with characters’ emotion, develop strong points of view, and choose specific and important character details.
