Jack Gantos started the True Lit Literary Festival at the Fayetteville Library off with a description of his writing life that had his audience in helpless laughter, Every writer could wish to be as entertaining in person. His take away message: writing is hard work requiring awareness, persistence, and revision, revision, revision.
