Two very different Arkansas online magazines

Arkansas writer Phil Slattery publishes two very different online magazines: The Chamber Magazine and the Rural Fiction Magazine (RFM).

At present, both are free to readers and non-paying for writers who wish to submit.

Here is how the publisher characterizes them:

The Chamber Magazine

For readers 12 and up, The Chamber Magazine focuses on dark fiction and poetry. The content is not pornographic, nor does it contain extreme violence. It does, however, often touch on sensitive or mature matters.

Rural Fiction Magazine (RFM)

A more traditional magazine, RFM focuses on stories and poetry suitable for a modern, educated rural audience.

For writers looking to gather unpaid publication credits, submission guidelines are available.
