Two Writing Courses and a Cancellation

Online Writing Course
Marilyn H. Collins, author, editor, and local history specialist is offering an online writing course through Story Circle from May 13-June 10, 2013.

Life often defines us through our job, marriage/parenting roles, birth order, and other family situations/members. Use this course to define in writing who you are as a stand-alone person in juxtaposition to your other roles.

Writing Workshop at Shiloh Museum of Ozark History
June Jefferson of Invitation to Write will conduct an interactive course in memoir writing on Saturday, May ll from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Museum is located at 118 W. Johnson in Springdale.

Participants will produce a minimum of three first drafts on the following topics:
personal recollections of a house
memories of a particular street or neighborhood
memories of a town’s business area

No May Meeting for Whodunits
The Whodunits mystery group will not meet on May 11. The next meeting will be July 13 at Mermaid’s in Fayetteville.
